Erasmus+ scientific meeting in Helsinki

The 3rd IAS meeting of the Erasmus+ project, "Increasing accessibility of integrated ECEC services to support all families with young children" was held in Helsinki from 9th to 11th October, 2019.

The host and organizer of the scientific meeting in Helsinki was the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) of Finland. The project partners who participated in this meeting are: Kind en Genzin from Belgium; Vernieuwing in de Basisvoorzieningen voor Jonge Kinderen (VBJK) from Belgium; MALA ULICA from Slovenia; University of Tromsø from Norway; and of course the Center for Family Research of Nicolaus Copernicus University, Toruń, Poland. The theme of the scientific meeting in Finland was “Towards integrated services, NGO activities and service culture”.

As part of this three-day IAS meeting, partners participated in a conference titled "Co-creating Integrated Family Services and NGO Activities for Families and Children". They also made study visits to Lahti and Porvoo, discussed their different working experiences, and compared practices in their individual countries.
