Special Issue published in Research on Social Work Practice

The director of the Centre for Family Research, Dr. Jarosław Przeperski has guest-edited a special issue titled, “Global Approaches to Family Social Work Research” in the journal, Research on Social Work Practice (RSWP). The special issue by Dr. Przeperski is a good contribution to the work of the center. Contributors to the special issue are well-published researchers from around the world whose papers touch on issues in social work with global implications. Currently, online publication of the contributing papers are underway with about half of the total papers already published.

Reception Social Services for Migration Families in Italy: Strength, Critical Aspects, and Challenges by Ilaria Coppola, Nadia Rania, & Laura Pinna all at the Department of Education Sciences, University of Genoa, Italy.

When Parents Fail: Addressing Delinquent Child Maintenance Through Informal Resources by Esmeranda Manful, Alhassan Abdullah, & Ebenezer Cudjoe who are affiliated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana;  The University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam, Hong Kong; and the City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, respectively.

This list will be updated as the remaining papers get published including when the final special issue is published. The hard work of the staff of the centre in assisting with organizing this special issue and the contribution of the authors is greatly appreciated.
