Preparing a good research paper alone is not good enough to ensure your research findings are widely disseminated. Researchers need to know how to prepare their research papers for publication and to know what journals are more suitable for their papers. Professor Bruce Thyer will tap into his wide experience as a researcher and journal editor to help the audience understand what it takes to publish research papers in highly regarded journals.
About the speaker
Professor Bruce Thyer is a Distinguished Research Professor and Dean Emeritus of the College of Social Work, Florida State University, USA. He is currently the editor of the social work journal, Research on Social Work Practice (RSWP) and the co-editor of the journals, Child and Adolescent Social Work Journal and the Journal of Evidence-based Social Work.
Professor Bruce Thyer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. He has produced hundreds of articles and book chapters and over 35 books in the fields of social work, psychology, behavior analysis, and psychiatry.
