Conference in Edinburgh (18-20.04.2018)

8th EUROPEAN CONFERENCE FOR SOCIAL WORK RESEARCH (ESWRA 2018), UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND

A representative of the Center for Family Research – Jarosław Przeperski, Ph.D., during the 8th European Conference For Social Work Research (ESWRA 2018), held at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, presented results of his research concerning the integration of services in favour of families. His presentation titled “Exploring the interprofessional cooperation of child and family welfare institutions”, was warmly received.

The conference which was attended by over 600 researchers, was an opportunity to hold many scientific meetings and discussions concerning social work with families, as well as to promote the Center. Hopefully, these kinds of engagements will contribute to a strong internationalisation of the Center and lead to conducting studies in groups composed of researchers from various countries.

Moreover,  within the framework of ESWRA (The European Social Work Research Association), a special body was created to consider issues of social work in post-socialist countries. Jarosław Przeperski, Ph.D., became one of the moderators of the group.
