Literature review forms an essential part of any research paper. Data from other literature are used to support or refute the hypothesis, results, and interpretation and conclusion of the results in a research paper. Knowing how to search for relevant literature, analyze, and synthesize the data in the literature is an important skill for every researcher. Professor Brian Taylor will deliver some essential methods in achieving this to support writing high quality research papers.
About the speaker
Professor Brian Taylor is a Professor of Social Work from Ulster University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is an expert in professional judgement, decision making, assessment tools and processes, risk, and use of knowledge to inform practice. He has published extensively in these areas of research.
Professor Brian Taylor is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (UK) and was part of the founders of the Board of the European Social Work Research Association.
